Why Join Chi Phi at the University of Maryland?

  • We are only a couple years old at the University of Maryland. Becoming a member of Chi Phi gives any man the unique experience to step into a Fraternity that is not onlly established in the social and athletic realms of the University, but also new enough on campus that any brother can make a profound effect on our future.

  • Our dues are competitive and local schloarships given to one or more brothers each semester.
  • In 2005, our chapter was the Greek Week CHAMPIONS!

  • In Spring of 2006, we were the Intramural Volleyball A-League CHAMPIONS!

  • We're extremely laid back and accepting of all potential brothers.

Who are we?

  • Our brotherhood is currently 39 members strong, allowing us to maintain a tightly-knit group of friends.

  • Our majors range anywhere from engineering and business to neurophysiology and graphic design.

  • We are widely involved with on-campus activities including relay for life, club lacrosse, intramural soccer, ultimate frisbee, cycling, boxing, and flag football.

  • We pride ourselves in maintaining a solid balance between academics and social life.

  • Our average GPA is 3.26.
